Mad River Snags 2nd at Snake River Fest!
We had an amazing time competing in the Snake River Fest on June 8th, and we’re amped to share that our team snagged second place in the 6-person raft race! The event was packed with stoke, and we couldn’t be prouder of our crew.
The Snake River Fest, hosted by the Snake River Fund and Jackson Hole Kayak Club, is a celebration of one of the most beautiful and vital waterways in our region. This annual event brings together people from all walks of life to honor the Snake River and its headwater tributaries. These 400+ miles of Wild & Scenic Rivers are a lifeline to Jackson Hole, drawing visitors from around the world with their stunning scenery, rich fisheries, wildlife habitats, and endless recreational opportunities.
The Snake River Fund and Jackson Hole Kayak Club have long histories with the river, focusing on education, conservation, and stewardship. The first week of June 2024 was a testament to their dedication, filled with celebration, river-related education, conservation activities, and spirited competitions.
Being part of this event was a fantastic reminder of what makes our community special. We saw big smiles, felt the community love, and enjoyed the company of fellow river aficionados. The camaraderie and shared passion for the river were truly inspiring.
